Day 22 - Something you wish you hadn’t done in your life - 30 days of truth

So I'm copping out a little here. Just because I'm so tired of talking about ME this month, I could puke. So no soul bearing wishes here. Just an honest one.

I wish I hadn't played the flute. I hated the flute. I wanted to play the French horn. Or the cello. Or even the marimba.

But I wish I hadn't played the flute.

It's not a life shattering regret, mind you, but it fits the bill.

This is part of the 30 Days of Truth series. You can find the entire list here.

  1. I played the flute. And the piccolo. And the best thing about the piccolo was that you could put it in your pocket when the Memorial Day parade was over. Can't do that with a tuba.

  2. I think my regret is that I didn't play ANY instrument. I always wanted to play the piano. I could listen to a song and figure out parts of it on my own but I never really got a fair shot at it.

  3. Ooh, me too! Wish I'd played trumpet or drums -- that's where all the cute boys were. But I really like the sound of the french horn and the cello best. Plus, if you play the cello, you get to wear big, swoopy skirts.
