And (sort of apropos of my last comment), you're the only one with these FABULOUS photos.

What an absolutely gorgeous photo. And what an absolutely wonderful friend you are--and what a friendship you have.

I so remember that turtleneck. :D Wish I had more pics of us in high school, Marty. We could give your readers quite a laugh.

I don't know you, but I DO know Susan through blogging (I'm one of the Mothers with Cancer and she's kind of like my hero) and I know Gail in real life (and want to be her when I grow up even though I'm way older than she is) but you've been in my thoughts and prayers right along with WhyMommy.

Thinking of you and of Susan and of all her friends and family. I have been following her journey since she was first diagnosed and we were both new moms - she for the second time, I for the first. She doesn't know me but my thoughts have been with her for five years. Thank you for sharing your love for and friendship with Susan. Take care of yourself.

Sweetie - you are the one who deserves the virtual hugs. I wish I could take some of this grief from you and lighten your load. Even just for a moment.

Dear Marty --

We've only met once -- at the SJE Breakfast for Santa a few years ago, I think. So I don't know you, but I just wanted to say what a remarkable person you must be and how lucky to love a person like
Susan for so long. I'm so sorry for your grieving. Please let me know if there is anything I can do for you.
