Damn near 85 degrees outside

You know you live in the South when you take a drive to look at Christmas lights in a convertible, with the top down.

I would really like to have one good snow this year.

Preferably not at the time I'm giving birth.

It could at least be cold though.

Thank you, Izzy for making my blog a pretty pretty place. I love it, and I love you too!

  1. Okay, it's 2 degrees here so 85 sounds pretty dang tropical.

  4. I would love an 85 degree Christmas. I live in the Midwest, and though the temps are hardly arctic this time of year, I really could do without the freezing rain we've been having the past three days.

  8. Here in New Orleans, I actually had to turn on the A/C this weekend. In December, that's just wrong! Baking holiday cookies was torture in the sticky heat!

I wouldn't want ice storms, but I don't like this ickiness.

  10. It's about 39 here... no tops down!

85 at Christmas just doesn't seem right though.

  11. Izzy did a great job on your blog. I love it! I'm actually suffering from a little bloggy design envy...

Looking at Christmas lights with the top down. That seems soooo wrong. You need snow to really make them glitter!

I KNOW, I know. I'm sweating right now as I type. I should turn on the AIR CONDITIONER, but sheesh, it's December, it seems so wrong!

  15. How sad that it took the fecking piano for me to get your blog name.

    Some music professor I am.

And I hear you on the heat. It snowed on the day I had Drew.

    I was, however, in PA.

  17. Wooo to the South! People were wearing shorts and t-shoits to the football championships Friday night.

Rock on to all my sisters and brothers who can leave their windows and doors open this time of year. To the rest of you, enjoy freezing your enlightened butts off. :D
