Little Bird says hi

Naughty Bird hid from the nurse again today. Then as soon as she found him, and before she could start counting, he bolted. Three times.

So my Turkish friend was half right. Bird may not be a girl, but Bird is naughty.

He finally settled down a little bit. Gave us a heart rate. And now? We are sitting on the couch with his dad, and Bird is doing a little tap dance just below my belly button.

I like to think that means he is happy.

  1. Makes me ache for another, reading your post.

Moo (almost 16!) came and begged me for another brother or sister this morning and I had to leave the room to cry.

    I want another baby.

Cherish this time. It is truly magical.

  10. I love that feeling!!

Every single ultrasound I would ask the tech to double check and make sure we were having a girl because I was so afraid of bringing home a little boy to a hot pink room!

Sounds like Little Bird has a great little nest!

  11. When you tell people to Delurk, they listen!

Love the nickname "bird." My little guy's in utero name was "little bunny." He's 5 and we still call him "Bun" or even "Bunny." Even in front of other people.

Bird's gonna keep you on your toes! :-)

Of course they are replaced by fun, unintelligible conversations which are just as awesome.

I can't wait to "meet' Bird!
